Life In Plymouth During The Blitz (2023).

During my second year on the BA (Hons) Film & Screen Arts course at Arts University Plymouth in 2024, I created this short documentary exploring my mum’s memories of growing up in Plymouth during the Second World War and how those experiences shaped her life.

Drawing on her childhood recollections against the backdrop of the Plymouth Blitz, the film weaves personal testimony with the city’s wartime history.​

This was my first venture into documentary filmmaking, and I took on every role myself – from research and sound recording to camera, editing, and post-production – crafting the entire piece as a solo filmmaker.​
